Literary festival quest sings praises of 'creative island'
THOUSANDS of book fans young and old shared their love of literature at this year's Guernsey Literary Festival.

Islanders and tourists headed to a range of events, activities and appearances at the weekend from some of the big names in the world of literature .
Among those addressing the crowds was Ruth Rogers, who worked as a puppeteer on the National Theatre's War Horse for four years.
Sharing her experiences of the West End attracted a standing room only crowd at the festival's Hub on Saturday. She said she was delighted to join the long-list of acclaimed speakers at such a 'creative island'.
