The event is in its fourth year and more sports are on offer than ever before. All the sessions are free and are aimed at ensuring all sections of the community can try a new sport. Sports development officer Jenny Murphy (pictured centre) said it was all about getting people out and active. 'There is something for everyone,' she said.

There are 35 activities, spread over 90 sessions. Local sports clubs and facilities have got behind the scheme to help run the events.

Generali Worldwide has again supported the scheme.

The fortnight runs from Friday 30 June until Sunday 15 June. While all the events are free, many need to be booked in advance. For more details visit www.guernseysports.com.
