Rebecca Chandler lost her job at Curves gym last November after a dispute with owner Karen Michel.
Employment tribunal chairwoman Caroline Latham said Mrs Michel had not given fair grounds for redundancy.
It determined Miss Chandler had been unfairly dismissed and she was awarded £11,154 – six months' pay.
