Bishop of Dover is on five-day visit to island
WORK is progressing to find a permanent relationship between Guernsey and the Church of England, the Bishop of Dover has said, at the start of his latest visit.

But he warned it could take at least another year before options for how the church could move forward were discussed.
The relationship between the Channel Islands and the Diocese of Winchester broke down at the start of last year, following a dispute between Bishop Tim Dakin of Winchester and Jersey's Dean, the Very Rev. Bob Key.
The Bishop of Dover, the Right Rev. Trevor Willmott, has since been overseeing the islands and has just started a five-day visit to Guernsey.
