An independent review into the £60m. rebuild project was ordered last November after Treasury and Resources secured an amendment calling for the development to be looked at for value for money.
At the time Deputy Sillars, pictured, issued a public apology saying every student, parent and teacher at the school had been let down by the delay and he had been left 'upset, hurt and sad' for everyone at the high and primary schools.
The review was due to be published by the end of this month, but now, for reasons he did not know, that has been pushed back by at least a week.
Any delay, no matter how small, meant the aim to begin the project this year and open in September 2017 was looking perilous, he said.
