Mr Farage was seen soaking up the sights of St Peter Port after he disembarked the Queen Elizabeth cruise liner, which had docked in Guernsey at around 10am.
Grandes Rocques Bistro owner Robert McKenzie, pictured with the politician, said Mr Farage was more than happy to pose for a quick selfie outside the Town Church.
'We had a light-hearted conversation about the TV show Gogglebox – when he was interviewed by Steph and Dom (the posh couple).
'We had a laugh about the trousers he changed into when he had wine spilt on his.
'He said he knew he was being stitched up but thought "sod it" and played along with it.
'He was really quite chatty actually.'
Mr McKenzie described him as incredibly 'pleasant' and 'open'.
