Sunday trading vote 'absolutely wrong'
A DECISION to approve total deregulation of Sunday trading was made with a 'complete lack of consideration', one parish constable has claimed.

Dennis Le Moignan, pictured, slated the Assembly's vote, saying a number of issues had not been considered.
'We're not happy at all,' said the St Peter Port constable.
'We thought the current laws should have remained with a few things tightened-up to remove the anomalies.'
However, St Martin's constable Gerry Tattersall welcomed the decision.
'I am pleased about it because I think we should be given the choice to shop on a Sunday.'
He said sorting out Sunday Trading licences, currently a job the douzaines have to administer, was very time consuming and often done in a rush at the last minute.
