Michael Le Billon, 38, pleaded guilty to eight counts of behaving indecently.

The Magistrate's Court heard how the offences were committed at Clinton Cards, Boots the Chemist, Marks & Spencer, The Lexicon and Fat Face.

All the offences were committed between 1 January 2011 and 17 June this year.

Judge McMillen did not think she had ever dealt with a larger number of victims.

'The quantity of videos and photos you have taken is astonishing. There are a minimum of 630 women and school girls on this island who have been the victims of your behaviour.

'You have not given any thought to those women who you followed and targeted.

'I am satisfied the reason for your behaviour was for sexual gratification therefore your behaviour is absolutely shocking.'
