The inspectors from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) were investigating the alleged selling of unlicensed medicines.

'No arrests were made, but various items related to the business were uplifted,' said HSSD chief pharmacist Ed Freestone.

'A business address in Town and a residential property in outer St Peter Port were searched,' he said.

Immuno Biotech has offices in La Tourgand House in the Lower Pollet.

'Inspectors from the MHRA, approved under the Bailiwick of Guernsey Medicines Law, assisted with the inspection,' said Mr Freestone.

The MHRA has been conducting investigations into GcMaf, which is not licensed in the UK or the island. 'This is a separate investigation to that being carried out by the MHRA in the UK, and focuses on potential offences committed in the Bailiwick of Guernsey,' Mr Freestone said.
