Martyn Gordon, 44, pictured, whose address was previously given as La Corniche, La Mine Doree, Rue de la Boullerie, St Andrew's, admitted six counts of fraud while working at a local finance firm.

The Royal Court yesterday heard how he had made no financial gain for himself, and had been working to balance the books of his clients.

Judge Russell Finch said if Gordon had taken any of the money for himself, the punishment would have been more severe.

Gordon had worked at Blenheim Fiduciary Group for over 16 years and had been a director at the time of the offences. The crimes related to transactions between 2011 and 2014 and involved moving around £1.3m. of his clients' money without their knowledge or permission.
