RAY BLONDEL is considering his future in Guernsey football. The Vale Rec boss said that he could not make any rash decisions following his dismissal in Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat at Northfield and he will be in charge of the green-and-yellows for their Wheway Cup clash with Trinity on Saturday.

'I am just thinking about my future in local football at the moment and whether I want to spend more time on the golf course,' Blondel said.

Midway through the first half of the match against North, the Vale manager was banished from the touchline for foul and abusive language by referee Andy Priaulx after reacting angrily to the sending off of Matt Patch for a similar offence.

Blondel declined to comment on the events from Tuesday night, stating that he would wait until the officials' reports came in. He would then 'act accordingly'.
