TRIM MORGAN is out of Sunday's Cherry Godfrey Muratti final replay. The mercurial midfielder has withdrawn from the Guernsey squad due to personal reasons, not football related. He will also miss the NatWest Island Games in Shetland this summer.

'I am not in the right frame of mind at the moment. Other things have to take priority,' he said yesterday.

It would have been touch and go whether the Vale Rec man could have played anyway.

'I think I have broken my toe so I don't think I could have been involved,' Morgan said.

However, he is looking into the possibility of travelling with the team to lend his support.

Elsewhere, Nathan Pattimore is in line to make his first Muratti start as Jody Bisson is unlikely to recover in time from the abductor muscle tear that he picked up in the final.

'I do not reckon that he will make it,' said Ogier.

'Last Friday he had a 10 per cent chance.'

North's Paul de Garis has been called into the squad as cover for the Vale Rec captain.

One other definite change has to come at right back with Ian Potter away for the replay.

One piece of positive news is that the island manager expects skipper John Nobes to be fit to take his place in the team.

The centre back, who was outstanding at Foote's Lane nine days ago, spent extra time playing through the pain of a groin injury.

'I have been forced into changes already, so I am not going to name the side just yet,' Ogier said.

'Both teams were a bit guilty of playing six-man football in the first game. We would like to think that we could do something a bit different this time.

'We have got a few ideas we are talking about to change things a little with the players we have available.'

Jersey manager Dave Matthews will definitely be without three of his original Muratti squad for the replay.

The unavailable defender Craig Ferey and striker Paul Aitken join the suspended Kevan Crowell on the absentee list.

Matthews used Monday evening's 1-1 draw against an FA XI, which was part of the JFA centenary celebrations, as a trial for the replay.

Gordon Brodie, brother of island regular Dave, scored the Jersey goal but is now injured.
