NORTH face one of the toughest challenges of the season when they come up against Trinity in the Jeremie Cup final at the Corbet Field tomorrow (1pm kick-off). The Jersey side are locked in a three-way battle for the title at the top of the Coca Cola Combination and have been impressive all season.

They are a strong side and have been all season.

'The boys played them earlier on 'in the Wheway' and they were just about edged out of it,' said North player-coach Trim Morgan.

'Preparation has gone well and we have a full squad available, apart from Olly McKenzie,' he added.

McKenzie injured his knee in the FletcherSports Guernsey FA Cup semi-final earlier this week.

'It is a cup final, a very big game and we are looking to add another trophy,' said Morgan who knows it will be hard.

Trinity are on a run of nine straight wins in the league but Morgan's men can take heart from the fact that Trinity recently went down 4-2 to Jersey Scottish in the final of the Wheway Cup.

Trinity have scored in every one of their 24 games this season and can conjure goals from all over the park.

North will have to look out especially for former Manchester United junior and Port Vale star Ashley Dodd who has netted in his last seven games.

Trinity also feature several Muratti regulars.

Meanwhile, Micky Ogier's Priaulx champions go into their Collins Cup final clash with Jersey Wanderers at the Track, at almost full strength.

'I think we are pretty much all there: obviously we will be missing Billy Page, but apart from that I think we are OK, said Ogier.

Page is struggling to recover from a knee injury he sustained earlier on in the cup campaign against Rozel.

'We go into the game hoping to win and if we play to our full potential I fully expect us to come out with that win,' said Ogier.

Wanderers currently lie second from bottom of the Jersey' Coca Cola Combination with only seven points from this season's campaign.

However, they have put their poor form behind them with four wins out of five matches in all competitions since February.

Bels would also do well to look out for in-form striker Jack Cannon who has just retuned from the UK after a spell with AFC Bournemouth.

The match kicks off at 3pm allowing local fans to watch both finals.

* BELS beat Rangers 3-0 in Cable & Wireless Youth One with goals from Karl Bisson, Marcus Piercey and Rene Brun.

In last night's Jackson games North beat Rangers 2-1 at Northfield and Bels and Vale Rec drew 3-3 at the Track..
