GUERNSEY face Jersey in this weekend's indoor bowls inter-insular without the talents of their best bowler, Alison Merrien. She is competing in Belfast at the World Indoor Bowls Council championships. The Sarnians will also miss the talents of Nick Donaldson, who is at the same event.
Many eyes will be on the 17-year-old Alderney youngster, Will Ceillam, who has battled his way to two finals on Sunday.
Ceillam will be hoping to add the under-35 and under-18 titles to those he recently won at the GIBA Open finals.
Paul and Carol Ingrouille also will face a busy weekend as they feature in three finals.
The women's matches get under way tomorrow morning and they will be hoping to avenge their defeat last year while the men defend their 2005 win in the afternoon.
The open fours featuring the Ingrouilles and Keith and Gwen de la Mare brings the day to a close.
The Ingrouilles are first on the green on Sunday morning along with Mick Merrien in the open triples. The open pairs see Rick and Anna Brehaut take on the Jersey's of Gus Hodgetts and Sue Noel.
Ceillam features in the under-18 final before Rick Brehaut takes on his Jersey opposition in the over-60s final.
The Ingrouilles feature again in the TSB Pairs before Ceillam steps up again in the under-35s.
