EXCITING Sarnian tennis prospect Jack Oldfield (pictured) won two tournaments back to back in the UK at the weekend.
The first was held outdoors in Salisbury and was a Wiltshire U-12 County winter series event. Oldfield played three matches and in six sets dropped only two games.
He played especially well in the semi-final on clay against a similar rated player, Henry Birt. The Guernsey boy won 4-0, 4-0, serving up two aces on the way.
The following day he took part in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Under-12 Boys Winter Series Masters event in Basingstoke.
The first two rounds were straightforward and saw Oldfield reach the final, dropping just one game to get there.
