HEATHER WATSON coasted to another victory in the $10,000 Frinton Futures Championship yesterday.

HEATHER WATSON lived up to her top billing

status as she easily won her first match in the Junior ITF Citta Di Santa Croce' Tournament in Pisa, Italy yesterday.

The 15-year-old Guernsey star is the top seed for the first time at an ITF Grade One event.

But the world number 14 did not let the spotlight get to her as she eased past Michaela Boev of Belgium, 6-2 6-4, in the second round after receiving a bye in the first.

She also received a bye in the doubles competition with her American partner, Beatrice Capra, as they are the top seeds.

Watson is expected to be in action in both the singles and doubles today.
