Watson in French final

Heather Watson has reached the final of the Junior French Open girl's doubles with partner Timea Babos.

In this afternoon's semi the girls defeated the pairing of Russia's Ksenia Kirillova and Martina Trevisan from Italy, 2 - 6, 7 -5, 8 - 10.

They now face number two seeds Elena Bogdan and Noppawan Lertcheewakarn in the final tomorrow (Saturday 6 June).

Watson is currently ranked 12th in the world while Babos is rated number three.

The duo made the doubles semi-finals having not dropped a set all week.

Watson earlier in the week was defeated in the opening round of the singles competition by France's Gracia Radovanovic.
