Watson website goes live today

ISLANDERS and Heather Watson fans across the globe can log onto the tennis star's first official website after www.heatherwatson.co.uk went live today.

Working with website designers at Sportingbet, the site has been created to give the US Junior champion the opportunity for regular input and to keep her supporters as up to date as possible with her progress on and off the court.

A modern and user-friendly site portraying Watson's vivacious personality, visitors to it will be able to follow her proposed tournament schedule and results as well as getting an insight into the girl behind the racket.

When she last returned to the island, she met sponsors Sportingbet to discuss the development of the site. Between them they created a style that suited her best and she has continued to work closely with the designers to help get this running.

'I am really excited about my new official site and can't wait for everyone to log on and check out what I'm up to,' she said.

Renowned for her bubbly personality and love of listening to music, Heather will be regularly posting her top 20 favourite songs on her "What's on your iPod" page.

There is also a style page called "Heather's Fashion" where she highlights her favourite make-up brands, clothing outlets, outfits - on and off the court - and fashion icons.
