Watson ends season on a low

HEATHER WATSON'S junior season has ended in disappointment in Florida.

Having already crashed out of the individual event at the prestigious Eddie Herr Classic, where she was seeded number one in both singles and doubles, the Guernsey star failed to make the semi-finals of the doubles.

Partnered by Pole Magda Linette they had eased into the quarters before surprisingly losing 6-3, 5-7, 5-10 in a third-set tiebreak to the unseeded Belarussians Marozava and Pekhava.
