PRIME PROPERTY PANTHERS got themselves back on track to retain the Men's Division One basketball title when they came from behind to get the better of Le Mont Saint Fiat.

PPP won last year's league under their old name of Collins Stewart.

They had suffered a shock 74-67 defeat at the hands of new team Focus HR in their last run out in the league at the beginning of December.

But their nine-point win over Fiat at Beau Sejour on Wednesday night puts them firmly back in the running.

'We enjoyed it,' said PPP coach Pat Ogier.

'It was quite a tough game. Both sides played pretty good basketball most of the night.

'We're pleased to get back on a winning track after the Focus loss.'
