HEATHER Watson has only herself to blame for her tough draw at the AEGON Classic in Birmingham, which begins today.

She drew it herself.

The 18-year-old who returned to England on Wednesday for some pre-match training with the LTA at Roehampton, assisted with the draw after being given a wild card into the main draw.

She was pulled out to play Russian Alla Kudryavtseva, the world No. 78.

'I was very excited to do the draw. I was watching and waiting to hear my name being called out and it took ages, but I'm really excited about playing Kudryavtseva.'
