That one's for Johnny

TOM HOLLINGSWORTH dedicated his latest island record swim in the Delhi pool to his former school friend Johnny Dorey.

Hollingsworth (pictured) overcame a slight illness to swim his Medley personal best, a performance that team manager Sara Parfit described as 'spectacular'.

He placed fifth in heat two of the 200m individual medley, setting a new Island record of 2-05.90 in the process.

He explained his motivation for doing so well, and paid tribute to good friend Jonny Dorey, who went missing in America many months ago.

'I want to dedicate my record to him because he was one of my closest friends and always an inspiration to me,' Hollingsworth said.
