Taking full advantage and also the win was Ian Le Patourel (pictured) riding his brand new Sherco 250.
Steve de Carteret blew the cobwebs off his bike and took second with Clem Brouard settling for third.
The clubman class had seven entries with another cracking ride from Neil Sarre ensuring his second win of the season from two starts and he should definitely think about moving up to the expert class.
