THE main title contenders suffered mixed fortunes in the third autocross meeting of the Winter Championship at Chouet.

Ozzy Ozanne duly took maximum points for the championship, racing to an untroubled double race win, while Billy Le Page moved into second place with a heat win and second in his final.

However, Callum Queripel punctured in the race of firsts, so failed to score in that race and Leeroy Sebire only made it into the race of seconds, in which on the last but one lap the driveshaft let go and he went home with only four points.

Nick Goodwin had a good haul of points, finishing second to Peter Jory in his heat and winning the race of seconds. This result moves Goodwin to equal fourth overall.
