SOME of the best racing conditions imaginable led to a strong opening day of racing in 2011 as Jersey's motocross riders showed their class.
But although the Caesareans had a good day at Pleinmont, it was local Brett Pearce who was arguably the individual star, winning all of the races on offer in the 'A' group.
On a blustery but dry day, the track looked in perfect condition thanks to the preparation put in beforehand, with a number of the riders praising the work carried out.
Anyon Robilliard was one such man and he was also pleased with his day's work, finishing in second position in his opening two races of the day.
