MIXED weather brought about mixed fortunes for many drivers in round three of the Guernsey Kart & Motor Club's summer series.

Sponsored by the Queen's Hotel, racing was exciting as conditions changed throughout the day and tested the drivers' abilities in all conditions.

It was business as usual for Harry Torpy in the cadets, who showed his talent in winning two of the heats and the final, recording the fastest lap in every race.

However, after starting on pole, a thrown chain in heat three allowed Cameron Robert to come through and take the flag, hotly pursued by Bradley Ford.
