And yesterday on the Val des Terres hill he lowered the racing cars 1601 to 200cc class record not once, but twice, to come away with a brilliant FTD.

His 28.97 on his second timed run stripped the best part of a second off Englishman Paul Haines' three-year-old record, but in the dying embers of the day's racing Warwick went even faster, stripping another four-hundredths off the mark.
