A TEACHER union representative has backed La Mare de Carteret High for owning up and putting exceptional measures in place to help students with 'significant gaps' in their ICT coursework.
NASUWT Guernsey secretary Caroline Bowker, pictured, responded after it was revealed that Year 11 ICT students at La Mare de Carteret were missing compulsory sections of their coursework.
The affected students will be granted access to the ICT rooms during lunchtime and after school to help them catch up.
Mrs Bowker said: 'I am delighted to see that as soon as the problem was discovered that exceptional work was put in place to make sure that everything possible is done to resolve the situation.'
