High praise for Aurigny's City link
LONDON CITY is a lot easier to travel from and a far better airport experience, passengers have said.
Two days into Aurigny's first new route for a decade, users have hailed the twice-daily service as being exactly what is needed for businesses.
Harold Gillow, 77, was in the island on business and said the airport offered a far more convenient travelling experience.
'It is easier and better than Gatwick for me. I reckon it was an hour from my house, which is roughly the same time to Gatwick but for me the whole journey is easier.'
Another passenger, who did not wish to be named, said the service would encourage more travellers.
Currently the link is using a leased 50-seater Fokker 50 plane. Aurigny will gauge the passenger demand while it decides what aircraft to operate it with in the long term.
