More than 30 drivers signed a letter to the operator demanding changes be made to their new rotas, fearing that their overtiredness was putting the public at risk.
It was claimed that they would strike if no changes were made by the end of the week.
Dai Powell, pictued, chief executive of the HCT Group, which owns CT Plus, said the company would never put its employees in an unsafe position.
He was confident they could iron out the issues.
Mr Powell did acknowledge that some shifts meant drivers were working throughout the day at peak times but he said it was 'part of the industry'.
