At 11.39pm on Tuesday all three emergency services were called to a fatal road traffic collision just south of the Rue de Goddards junction, near Vistas.

A 19-year-old man sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at hospital later that night.

Officers are aware of some misinformation circulating on social media with regards to the investigation, including that a second person has died. This is not the case.

Two other occupants suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and remain in the PEH but are said to be in a stable condition.

Police have not released the name of the man who died as it continues to be in discussion with the family during this difficult time.
