Motor trade awards for the top CFE apprentices

FOUR apprentices in the motor trade from a variety of working backgrounds have been recognised for their efforts by the Guernsey College of Further Education and the trade itself.

The college and the Guernsey Motor Trades Association presented them with long-standing perpetual trophies and £100 in tool vouchers.

Adam Le Ray, from Karting Guernsey, won the first year award, Joe Vivyan, from Tubby’s Engineering, was top second year student, Tom Palmer, from the States Works garage, was recognised from the third year apprentices, and Craig Whales, from Island Coachways, who completed his apprenticeship in the summer, was named top fourth year student.
