The agency – which is headquartered in London – has opened its new Guernsey office just off St Julian’s Avenue, St Peter Port, which is part of the business’s broader strategy to enhance its offering to individuals and businesses in both Guernsey and Jersey.

Bridgehead founder and managing director William Walter was born and raised in the island.

‘I’m passionate about Guernsey. I was born and raised here. My family still lives here. Opening our new Channel Islands office has been a long-held ambition of mine. It means that we’re better able to service our existing clients in Guernsey and to showcase our services to individuals and businesses in both Guernsey and Jersey. It will also mean we’re more in tune with local businesses and their PR and marketing needs,’ he said.

After graduating, Mr Walter began his career in the Houses of Parliament where he worked as a speech writer and media adviser to two shadow ministers. After leaving Parliament, he went on to advise foreign governments, including Georgia and Lithuania, on their international media outreach.

More recently, he has advised individuals, family offices, and organisations across a variety of sectors on their media outreach. He was also a media adviser to local entrepreneur and extreme sports enthusiast, the late Zef Eisenberg.

Bridgehead Communications is a full-service PR and communications agency specialising in working with individuals and businesses to promote their brand, improve their reputation, and showcase their services among the audiences that matter to them. Its core skills and services include public relations, media coverage, crisis communications, reputation management, social media marketing, SEO, and multimedia production.

Bridgehead’s team includes former national print and broadcast journalists as well as senior policy advisers with expertise in their respective fields. Collectively, the team can offer Bridgehead’s clients with decades of experience in the front lines of media, politics and PR.

‘My team and I are excited to be able to offer the skills and PR services that we’ve honed in the UK to help put local businesses on the map whether that’s locally or further afield,’ said Mr Walter.
