Pride of Guernsey: Joshua Redwood
A TEENAGER who works at the Co-op store at the Halfway has been nominated for the Alexander Daniels-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award for his big personality which brightens everyone’s day.

Joshua Redwood, 15, was nominated by two separate people for his daily efforts at the shop and has become something of a social media celebrity with more than 317 posts on a popular local Facebook group about his customer service.
‘A lot of people can take a leaf out of your book, keep it up Josh you are a breath of fresh air,’ read one such comment.
One of his nominators, Sam Eker, said that Josh consistently goes out of his way to help people.
‘He’s a pleasure to talk to and if you’re having a really bad day he’ll brighten it up by giving you a smile and asking how your day is going.
‘He’s small for his age but he’s a big personality. I think at such a young age to be awarded the Customer Service of the Year award would be such an achievement.
‘Josh is an absolute delight.’ he said.
