Get ready to finish off the summer with the rock spectacle of Vraicfest.

Taking place at L’Eree Aerodrome on Saturday 16 September, this day-long festival will be a showcase of Guernsey’s biggest rock bands - a true highlight of the island's impressive music scene.

The event is being organised by Let There Be Rock, The Vraiceaters Tavern and Regency Events and kindly sponsored by Fermain Valley, Hand Picked Hotels, Black Vanilla and Randals. Vraicfest will provide a full day of music running from 10.30am through till 11pm with performances from:

Back In Vraic

After hitting the stage two years ago, Back In Vraic have become Guernsey’s favourite AC/DC tribute act, playing everywhere from balconies to bars to Beau Sejour. Back In Vraic will be bringing their set of iconic AC/DC hits as well as trains, Rosie, cheerleaders, cannons and more to the Vraicfest stage!

Guern N' Roses

Fresh from their blistering 'Let There Be Rock' debut, come Guerns N’ Roses, bringing the classic sounds, swagger and Hollywood excess of LA’s finest, Guns N' Roses. They incorporate a 'who’s who' of local talent throughout the extensive nine-person line-up.

Maiden Guernsey

Formed over 15 years ago, Maiden Guernsey are the best Iron Maiden tribute band in the Channel Islands. Off the back of headlining Chaos 2023 they will be playing Maiden's biggest and most iconic songs.

Steve Against the Machine

Pay homage to the rebellious spirit of their influential predecessors, Rage Against the Machine. Steve Against the Machine capture the essence of RATM’s ground-breaking fusion of rap, rock and political commentary.

Drunken Promises

Not a tribute, but hard-rocking, bringing you covers from Therapy?, Halestorm, Marmozets, Audioslave, The Pretty Reckless and others.

Spectre

Spectre are a Guernsey-based Ghost tribute band formed in 2021. Fronted by Papa Jimeritus and his bunch of Nameless Ghouls they bring the Swedish rock band's biggest hits to the Guernsey stage.

Coastal Fire Dept.

Vale grunge band Coastal Fire Dept.'s singles, albums and music videos have gained them fans around the globe, but it’s live where they are in their element. New music is coming from them and they will debut some tracks at Vraicfest.

Near Bliss

Formed many moons ago and long in the tooth, Near Bliss are a feisty rock trio (sometimes four piece) that is dedicated to loosely pumping out grunge, garage rock and Nirvana tunes.

As well as the bar being provided by Vraiceaters Tavern there will also be stallholders providing, food, refreshments and entertainment including Atan, Chefan, Dino’s Coffee, Kirsty’s Ices, Bailiwick Botanicals, Vale Earth Fair, School of Popular Music and more.

There will be parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles on-site, with donations going towards local cancer charities.
