Arts Podcast: David Ummels and Jock Pettitt on Art for Guernsey's new home
Tony Curr speaks to the founder and director of Art for Guernsey about its landmark exhibition and workshop space which it has just opened in Mill Street.
The charitable organisation, which was formed seven years ago, launched its new home with a retrospective exhibition ahead of several major events planned for this year, including celebrations of the local legacies of Victor Hugo and Renoir.
They talk about its journey so far, its ambitions for 2023 and beyond, and how they hope it can help them make an outsized impact on that part of town — and the wider community.
