KRISTINA NEVES has eyes on a place in the Great Britain junior swimming team in 2012 and her winter preparations continue on the back of an amazing performance at the Rothschild Island Championships at Beau Sejour.
The outstanding 15-year-old (pictured) won all 16 island titles available to her over the three days of competition and, if that were not enough, she achieved 13 championship records, three all-comers' pool records and two island records in the backstroke.
One of those was already hers but the other was the 100 backstroke which was previously held by Michelle Bingham (nee Tomlin) and had stood since 1994.
She also claimed the GSC trophy for the best swim of the meet and the Rothchild's Trophy for the highest scoring female over the championships.
