COURTNEY BUTCHER has shown superb form in setting new age-group records in the two latest 100m events staged by her club.
Butcher set a new championship record in the 100m freestyle event of the Specsavers Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club, and then added another over 100 backstroke.
In the freestyle Butcher produced a national age group qualifying time of 59.25 - the first time that she has dipped under the 60-second barrier and it was also fastest time of the day from the girls.
This was a lifetime best by nearly two seconds and gave her the championship record previously held by Lotte Parfit.
