THREE members of the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club have excelled at the 2012 South East Region Championships held at Crawley and Guilford.

The South East Region is one of eight regions of the Amateur Swimming Association, which covers Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and parts of Surrey and Kent that are outside London.

With more than 70 clubs represented, Miles Munro, competing in the 15/16 age group at the South East Region Youth Championships, fared extremely well placing second in both the 50m and 100m freestyle events in 24.48sec. and 53.68.

In the 50m event final, he equalled his heat time exactly, but just lost out on the touch to Alex Bowen of Mid-Sussex Marlins who came in on 24.17.
