TWO skaters from Guernsey have been selected to represent Great Britain at the 57th World Figure Roller Skating Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, from 29 September to 13 October.

Chloe Dyke and Lucy Ozard both recently tasted success at the UK Championships and their performances in that competition have seen them warrant call-ups for the Great Britain squad.

The two skaters are both members of Guernsey's Phoenix Artistic Roller Skating Club.

Darren Dyke, 48, who is Chloe's father, is also the president and head coach at Phoenix.

'I was hoping that this would happen, as it's normal that the British champion gets called up for the worlds,' he said.
