FOR a short period at a very blustery and distinctly chilly Beau Sejour last night, it seemed as if the champions might be heading for a second defeat of the season.
With Denise Bourgaize and, in particular, Jenny Jordan in blistering form in the shooting circle, the B side raced into a 10-3 lead against a clearly bemused champions.
Just under an hour later, the champions had recovered fully to win comfortably enough and the B team's chances of challenging for the Division One title looked all but gone on the back of a second defeat of the campaign.
If nothing else, this was a night to concentrate and not only to keep the mind off the chill blowing from Herm way.
