Panthers look forward to taste of UK league action

CARRIE DODD was singled out for special praise by the club coaches after Panthers won their South Regional League qualifier in Aldershot.

As with Guernsey FC, the Panthers project is aimed at taking local netball to higher levels and develop the best players, so it was especially pleasing to see Dodd, pictured, emphasise that objective at the five-team tournament which saw just one place available to get into Division Three next season.

'Carrie was brilliant,' said coach Denise Bourgaize.

'She raised her game more than anybody,' she added.
