LORNA HALL admits that possession and a solid defence will be key when the Division One top two clash tonight at Beau Sejour.

Nerine Thunder A captain Hall will lead her side against the only other side with an unbeaten record, Resolution IT Green.

This is the second of four clashes between the pair this season, with the first ending in a gripping 35-35 draw.

Thunder A have a five-point cushion at the top of the table, by virtue of playing a game more.

'The key for us to keep control of the ball and be good in possession as much as possible because that stops other teams from scoring and takes some of the pressure off,' Hall said.

'So we need to stop the ball getting to them as much as possible.'

Resolution captain Kristy Webber is anticipating a tight contest.

'I think it'll be another close match,' she said.

'We were pretty disappointed with the draw last time so we will be fighting for the win for sure.

'Our last few games have been convincing wins and I think we have clicked together as a team again after a bit of a shaky start to the season.'

The game starts at 7pm at Beau Sejour.
