Eight Hampshire Championship titles for Barracudas swimmers

EIGHT championship titles and a haul of gold, silver and bronze medals returned with the Beau Sejour Barracudas from their trip to the final weekend of the Hampshire County Open/Youth Championships.

The event was held at the Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth, in the eight-lane, 50m pool, and saw swimmers from the Barracudas produce an excellent set of results.

Tom Hollingsworth set the ball rolling claiming three of the championship titles, while there were two for Miles Munro, who also broke his own island long-course 100m freestyle record with a time of 52.10sec.

Courtney Butcher was also on form as she collected the 50m freestyle title and there was double success for the Barracudas men's relay teams.
