Butcher targeting island records in Glasgow
THE youngest member of Team Guernsey she may be, but Courtney Butcher is still targeting an ultra-quick debut Commonwealth Games next week.

In recent years, Butcher has torn up the record books as she has progressed as a swimmer, and despite her tender age, is the only female who has qualified for Guernsey in the Glasgow pool.
She will be part of a sizeable 10-person Sarnian group, though, and will race in the 50m and 100m distances of both the freestyle and backstroke disciplines.
'I want to swim personal best times in all of the events and hopefully break the long course island records in them as well,' she said.
