Jersey captain Watson could sign for GFC

THERE is a strong possibility that Jersey captain Luke Watson will become a Guernsey FC player within the coming weeks, admit both player and coach.

Watson left Jersey in the summer to live in the UK and has played in the Ryman Premier, but admits it is likely that brief adventure will soon be at an end.

But the 28-year-old suggests he is open to leaving his home island again sooner rather than later to make Guernsey his new home and, with it, a place in the Green Lions midfield.
