The relatively unused Raiders winger completed a remarkable turnaround for Jordan Reynolds’ side at Tunbridge Wells, diving in to score in the corner for the winning try.
After the London and SE Premier game had been switched to the dry 3G surface at Bennett Memorial School in Culverden Down, the home side swept into a very early 15-0 lead and had a four-try bonus point in the bag by half-time when they led 25-12.
It was soon to get worse for the title challengers who conceded again to be 30-12 adrift and seemingly sunk.
But then the fightback.
Three converted scores saw Raiders steal it and take all five points available.
