Three second-half tries scored by Callum Roberts, Brad Webb and Anthony Armstrong as well as 12 points from the boot of Owen Thomas saw Guernsey to a 27-17 win at Barnstaple on Saturday as Jordan Reynolds' side completed their September on the road with an impressive 14 league points.

The coach said it is 'exciting we are managing to win' while coping with a lengthy injury list and not having played at home yet. He added that there is potentially much more to come from his side, though.

'It is funny how the mind thinks because after losing the opener at Worthing we were pretty down, then we have won the next three and yet all we seem to be thinking about is that one that got away at Worthing,' said the Raiders director of rugby.

'It shows where our mindset is, though, because Worthing are now sitting top and we absolutely feel that we could have won there.'
