Lynch at the double as Basingstoke Town beat GFC
CONOR LYNCH struck twice in the second half as Basingstoke Town inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Guernsey FC last night in Isthmian South Central.

After a goal-less first half in which both goalkeepers made good saves, Lynch capitalised on a lapse at the back for GFC to put the hosts ahead in the 47th minute.
He made the game safe on 72min. after being teed up by substitute Marcio Neves, who somehow wriggled his way through four GFC defenders in the penalty area.
In last night’s FNB Priaulx League match, Brandon Wallace scored a first-half hat-trick for Northerners at the Track where they ran out 4-0 winners against Bels. Jamie Smith netted the other.
