The Harlem Globetrotters are once again embarking on a world tour and will be visiting the UK next spring, but do you have what it takes to emulate the world’s greatest basketball tricksters?

The exhibition team will tour the UK from April 24 to May 6, bringing their famous brand of athleticism and comedy across the Atlantic.

But if you’re not content just watching the Globetrotters, how about attempting to learn the tricks of their trade?

However, if you just fancy watching the team in action, you’re still very much in for a treat.

“If you’ve never been to a Harlem Globetrotter game before, man, it’s going to be the best experience ever,” Firefly Fisher, who plays guard for the Globetrotters, told the Press Association.

“It’s two hours of laughing, great comedy and also great basketball skills. You’re going to see some high-flying dunks, some amazing dribbling, and you’re gonna be smiling.”

This year’s tour will focus on fan power, and for those planning on attending, that really is as exciting as it sounds.

“This is going to be the year where we’re going to be able to have the fans come on the court throughout the game and have fun with us.” said Firefly.

“Whether it’s trying to get the basketball from me, whether it’s shooting a shot in front of thousands of fans and winning a basketball or a jersey, this is the opportunity for the fans to be involved and we’re so excited to be able to incorporate them.

“We only come once a year so whenever we come we always bring new things. We are strictly fan oriented, but this year the fans are going to be incorporated like no other.”
